Poor Little Cubby had a bad day today. He was very grumpy and sleepy today because he was up a lot last night. He also had little accident today.
We have wooden gates that block off our front door and bathroom and another one that blocks off our kitchen. I guess Big Cubby knocked the one loose by the bathroom when he was climbing over it. Little Cubby was leaning on it and it fell over. He bit his upper lip pretty badly. It bled a lot.
Poor baby was so upset. We put ice in his Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder and that helped him a lot. Now he has a fat lip.
Life with two boys is never dull. I know my future will consists of little heart attacks every time one of the boys do something to get hurt but will I ever get use to it.
I worry sometimes about the future. I know I am a freak and there is nothing I can do now but I read all these stories of boys doing stupid things that get themselves or someone else hurt or killed. Just recently in the news there were four boys out driving and they came to a section of the road that has a railroad crossing and a hill. I guess kids try to go airbourne on it. Well these boys did and hit a tree. Two of the boys died. I see shows like Jackass and the Wildboyz and I am afraid.
I know I will raise my sons to make smart choices but that doesn't guarantee they will make them.
These are the things I worry about.

Awww! Poor little guy! He can join my fat lip club! (Although, I have more of a fat cheek!)
I love my fresh food chewer. The Princess never used it much, but Dough Boy likes it.
I know what you mean about boys. I never thought I would feel this way. The Princess is SO easy. She has always been a cautious child who never tires anything until she knows she can do it. Dough Boy? The child came out bruised! LOL! One good thing, I suppose, is that he seems to be a little tougher than my girl. I don't know if it is a personality thing or a boy thing. Regardless, bumps and bruises don't seem to bother him as much as they do her.
Those poor families of the boys in the accident. How unfortunate.
Have a good night!
I SOOOOOOOO dread that kind of thing happening in my future. I hope both boys are okay.
I share your concerns, but what can we do? They are going to grow and we just have to be there while they do. For the good and the bad.
Try not to worry. That's what I do.
:)
My MIL raised 4 boys, and now, whenever they are together, she begs them not to let her hear stories of the stuff they got into while little. The stuff on the news is the anomalous stuff - most of them just end up with scars on their knees and bloody lips. Don't know if that helps.
Tp help stop mouths from bleeding if you rub sugar on them it helps take away pain and it stops the bleeding. It also makes little ones stop crying cause they like the taste.
I have a friend from India, and she has all these quick remedies that work really well.
