I'll never ride my bike again

We took the boys to the park so Big Cubby could practice riding his bike before it got too cold. This is this the picture before when everything was wonderful. Little Cubby loved running after his brother. Big Cubby started going down a hill and instead of hitting the brakes.

He ran straight between two small trees and hit the branches and fell over. The bottom picture is before we bandaged him all up. He stated that we was never riding his bike again. If you look closely you can see a big tear coming down his cheek.
Good news is the next day we got him on his bike and he was fine. He fell once put was better prepared on what to do. A lessoned learned.

Perseverance is a good trait to have. Way to go, Big Cubby! You can do it!

What a face. He looks so sad, poor little guy. It's amazing how resilient kids are. I think a few adults could take some lessons from them. It's so important to try again.
