Wallowing in self pity

It has been awhile since I have posted. Chalk it up to just being busy attending to four people needs. I have been running around getting Christmas shopping done.

Tonight is Hubby's work holiday party they have invited spouses but I am not going. I don't know anybody so I don't know any babysitters plus going into the city and leaving the baby with a stranger for the first time does not sound to appealing. If my in-laws were here no problem but they live 6 hours away. So Hubby is going and won't be home till late. I am having a really long day with the kids and can not wait until they go to bed. (it is only 1:30pm right now)

I have been feeling sorry for myself lately. I am disgusted by my flabby stomach and spreading arse. I know I should exercise. We have a gym membership but I can't seem to get my arse off the couch. I am tired.

Which leads me to Ladybug decided last week that she was going to get up every hour because she misses me. We are having separation anxiety right now. So we started sleep training so she can soothe herself back to sleep. It worked over the weekend but last night she was up several times. I am tired.

The boys can not be trusted so I really can not nap. So too tired to workout, to tired to concentrate on a book, to tired to function. My life right now.

Little Cubby has no interest in the potty even after we bought him is own.

Big Cubby has some sort of oral fixation where he chews on his sleeves or neck of shirt.

Hubby is doing awesome at his new job which is great.

I really don't know what I am talking about right now. Got to go Ladybug is demanding to be picked up.

Wow, you are one busy mom! Hope things settle down a bit and you're able to get some relaxation.

hope things get better. I have a 5 and 8.5 year old and for a long time I wondered when it was going to get better/easier..and it does..but those "episodes" seem to take forever to get over.

Could she be getting some teeth?

Give yourself a little more credit. Nothing about your job is easy. You bust your ass every single day, so cut yourself some slack and go to bed when Hubby gets home on some days. You could use the rest.

Eveything you're describing about yourself is SO NORMAL! I remember being so tired and not having any gumption to do what I needed to do to feel better about myself which made me sad which made me tired, etc. It's such a viscious cycle, especially when you have little ones around.

I promise this will pass. Really!

Well, if you think YOUR arse is spreading, Miss 19-pound pregnancy weight gain, you should see mine after 44#! Ha!

Have you thought about advertising for a babysitter and having them come to you for interviews? That way you can make them do the work of meeting up with you and skip the packing up of 2-3 kids, etc. Of course, you'd want to Google them and possibly check references before giving them directions to your house...
