tooth, potty and beyond

Ladybug's tooth finally cut through and she is feeling better. Just in time for more teeth to come in. She has been sleeping well the past few nights. I still have to do her six month update on here. I am just going to wait until tomorrow because she has a doctor's appointment for 6 month check-up.

On to the potty. For a while now we have been trying to introduce the potty to Little Cubby. He is very resistant to this process. We have not pushed him just mention it. I bought him a potty just for him because he was scared of the big potty. He knows all the terms about potty and he even tells us when he as gone.

Well, last night was the last of the regular diapers for him. This morning when I changed him I put a Pull-Up on him instead. He totally freaked out about it. He tried to take it off and kept looking around for his diapers. I told him there were no more diapers and we have to use the Pull-ups from now on or he can use the potty. He finally calmed down over the Pull-ups at least until I have to change him and put another one on him.

He still wants to be the baby even though he says he is not a baby. This kid is stubborn.

I am so behind in blogging. I have been wanting to write about goals I have for 2008 and some of the things happening in my life but it has been exhausting keeping up with three kids and a husband. Trying to fit everything I need to do in a day has been very hard. So please hang in there and don't desert me. I really need you guys. As sad as it sounds, you are the only friends I have right now. I really appreciate your support.

yeah hang in there..it took a bit for littlest march (male) and it was a breeze for little march (female) so it was odd/hard etc. Now diapers are a thing of the past (well for a few years now, but I remember them OH so well! hahahaha

We will be around..at least I will.

My son Jack doesn't want to have anything to do with the potty, either. He only wants to go on it if his baby sister is on it, and then he tries to push her off.

And don't worry about me deserting you. I'm not going anywhere. I dig you.

Always, always here! You are the best. Things will calm down soon ... and hopefully Little Cubby will discover just how wonderful the potty can be :)

I'm still here, though in the same boat and not reading or posting much either. I feel your pain!

I swear, I think potty training is the hardest parental issue we've hit thus far. The Kraken was 99% trained, and then she just decided, "meh", this isn't for me, and started peeing all over the landscape like a golden retriever. You have my sympathy, and my well wishes.

I am still here. Things have been crazy at our house too so I have been horrible about posting and commenting. Hang in there, potty training will happen.
